Bellingham Farmers Market

Today marked the opening of our 2008 Farmers Market - a great open-air gathering place down town for fresh, local produce, fine crafts and lots of people. After our lunch at Luis' Mexican Restaurant, my son Brian, visiting from Rock Island, and I decided to head down town for some of the opening day events.

The market was filled with entertainment.

Food.

Vendors.

People.

Flowers.

And balloons.

This year the Bellingham Farmers Market runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays from now until December 20th at the Depot Market Square on the corner of Railroad Avenue and East Maple Street (1200 Railroad Avenue) in down town Bellingham, Washington.
