We set out for a walk in the fresh snow. The fairways of our neighboring golf course were covered deep with snow and no golfers were seen out there for any solstice games. 
We seemed to have the entire woods to ourselves and explored the snow-covered trails.
Torrie picked up the scent of a small animal from tracks left in the fresh snow.
