The entire dance floor was covered with balloons when we walked in the dance hall for the annual New Year's Eve dinner/dance. What fun it was to dance around, through, in and among those balloons. By the time it got close to midnight, many of the balloons had popped, but that didn't matter to us because by then the dance floor was filled with friends, fellow dancers, as one of the band members led us in the count down.
Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one . . .
