Time to Plant

Planting day has arrived - finally! This Pacific Tree Frog (Hyla regilla) stopped by to visit with me while I was planting. So cute!
Here's the garden layout I've planned for my assigned space at the Cordata Community Gardens.

And my square-foot planting guide.

Torrie rolled in the grass and barked at the sky before settling in to watch as I gardened. Finally the sky grew dark, extremely dark, and it started to rain - and rain hard. So ended my afternoon of gardening, but not before I had planted my basil, rosemary, plum tomatoes, spinach, beets, radishes, onions, sugar snap peas and kale.

I'll be back!
