Welcome Sign

A new sign took its place over the gate at our Cordata Community Gardens. "Welcome, we're build community spirit while learning together and growing quality organic food," it says!

Just two days before, a tremendous downpour had drenched the garden - yet so quickly our raised beds had dried out on a warm Spring afternoon. Twenty or so trips back and forth to the faucet to refill the watering cans seemed a rather tedious method for replenishing the moisture needed to keep our garden plants from wilting. We'll see what solution is in our future. (Thank you in advance, John!) Here, neighbor Mike waters his garden.
